Originally reviewed hereLike I said, I love this book. I love this book. I love it. I love Chloe. I love Dragon Clem. I love Duncan. Ohhhh Duncan. Also, Grams. Grams has a soap opera blog! Lady after my own heart. Chloe is so resourceful and just... I love her character! She adapts so much, which, from what I remember from high school, is VERY IMPORTANT. She's amazing. I mean, she's my YA fiction heroine. Let's pretend that this is a great segue into talking about grandmas. Her Grams has alzheimers and it is definitely a tear-worthy storyline. I know with living with my grandpa, this storyline was near and dear to my heart. I love how she loves her Grams! Weird? Maybe. That relationship is so important to the two of them and Grams teaches Chloe so much about how to deal with other people.SHUT. UP.Okay, okay, so I really love this story. It's a fun read but it also has its deep and dark parts. So glorious and so real. Thank you Shelley Corriel for bringing this world into my life. Agh, this is a story I've needed for so long. This is what Contemporary YA has needed. YES.The CoverThis cover goes so well with this story. It is perfect! Just like all of Chloe's vintage shoes.
